Hugh Gammell
Former Head of Admissions at Charterhouse & Housemaster
Hugh Gammell was Head of Admissions at Charterhouse, where he was a teacher for over 25 years. Hugh brings a wealth of experience, having been Housemaster of Robinites for 13 years and Registrar for 14 years. In his position as Registrar Hugh gained significant experience being responsible for all admissions into Charterhouse. Having retired in 2017, Hugh will advise Fay and her team in an informal capacity. An invaluable resource.
Pichai Israbhakdi
Former Thai Ambassador
Dr Israbhakdi is the former Thai Ambassador in Iran, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission in Tokyo, Japan and First Secretary in Paris, France. Prior to his successful international diplomatic career in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he was a Lecturer at The Faculty of Political Science at the University of Thammasat in Bangkok, one of Thailand’s top universities.
Paiboon Kanokwattanawan
CEO of The Mall Group
Mr Kanokwattanawan is CEO of the Mall Group, Thailand’s second largest retailer, which includes The Mall, Siam Paragon, Siam Emporium and BluPort. He is also head of Thailand’s Chamber of Commerce. Coming from an international business background, he is aware of the importance of an international upbringing and, having sent his two children to boarding school in Britain, he is familiar with the excellent educational system. He remains passionate about promoting educational opportunities and offering career advice, especially to pupils who are interested in careers in business, finance or economics.
PPachuen Phornmongkol
Former Deputy Thai Ambassador
Miss Phornmongkol is the former Consul General at the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Xiamen, China, where she looked after relations between Thailand and the provinces of Fujian and Jiangxhi of the People’s Republic of China. Pachuen was born and grew up in Bangkok, where she received her BA in Economics at Chulalongkorn Unversity. She then moved to Britain, where she achieved her Masters in Economics at the University of Manchester. Having spent a significant amount of her career travelling and liaising internationally, she is fully aware of the benefits of a first class British education. She is interested in promoting educational developments between China, Thailand and England.

Fay Dalby
Fay was Head Girl at Charterhouse School where she represented the school 1st team in 7 different sports and played tennis for the British regional squad. She achieved 4 ‘A’ grades at A-Level, including a Politics result in the top 10 of the UK. After Charterhouse, Fay attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, successfully achieving a short-service commission in the British Army, where she served as a Second Lieutenant in the Royal Artillery. Post-military, Fay attended the University of Oxford, graduating with a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE). She represented the university at tennis, real tennis, swimming and hockey, gaining a record of 4 “Blues” for competing in the Varsity matches.
In 2019, Fay represented Thailand at the World Championships for the 10km open water swimming, finishing as Thailand’s top female swimmer. She has spent the last 12 years working in the finance industry, at investment bank Lehman Brothers, FTSE 250 Investment Manager Man Group and Odey Asset Management. Fay is based in London and frequently visits Bangkok. She is half-Thai.
Fraser Dalby
Fraser is half-Thai and grew up in Britain, but spent a significant amount of time in Thailand. He was educated at Wellington College and LSE. During his time at Wellington he thrived in all aspects of school life, especially sport, where he captained the successful school 1st team for waterpolo and swimming.
Fraser attended Commonwealth Games trials for swimming, was County Champion numerous times at both swimming and cross-country. He played tennis at County level and was invited to compete in the prestigious junior series, held at Wimbledon. He was also actively involved in music (he played trumpet to Grade 6), drama, adventurous training, CCF (combined cadet forces) and was awarded the Duke of Edinburgh’s gold award. After Wellington, Fraser read Politics and Economics at LSE (London School of Economics) where he was part of the university Rugby 1st team and the cricket squad. He has spent the last 10 years working in finance, residing between London, Sydney and Toronto. He frequently visits Bangkok.
Luke Leslie
Luke Leslie is the co-Founder and CEO of Carbon Neutral Royalty. He is also a founding partner and member of the Board of Managers of the General Partner for PE Club Advisors S.à r.l. the manager of Private Equity Club L.P, a €338 million private equity fund; a member of the L.P Advisory Committee for BEX FUND IV S.L.P; Chief Financial Officer and Head of M&A at Shanta Gold Limited (LON: SHG), an East African gold producer; a Non-Executive Director of Nova Royalty Corp. (TSXV: NOVR) since April 2021; Non-Executive Director at Shanta Gold Limited (LON: SHG) (2012-2017); Luke was formerly a member of UBS Investment Bank’s Corporate Finance team in London and a management consultant at Accenture where he co-authored a patent on the Total Value of the Forest Factory. Luke is an alumnus of Edinburgh University and Harvard Business School.
Sam Chaudhary
Sam was educated at the International School of Choueifat and was awarded an academic scholarship to the University of Cambridge where he achieved a double 1st (BA) in Economics. After graduating Sam worked as an analyst at investment bank Lehman Brothers, before becoming a business analyst at McKinsey & Company. Following this, he embarked upon the world of education and taught economics at Charterhouse School. More recently he has combined his business acumen and passion for education by co-founding ClassDojo, a tool that improves behaviour of children at school and home. In 2013, he was awarded the prestigious ‘Top 30 under 30’ by Forbes magazine.
Louisa Fisher
Louisa comes from a Chinese background but attended school in England. She was educated at Cheltenham Ladies College, before graduating from the University of Oxford with a Master’s degree in French and Spanish. Louisa is Head of Year at Hill House International Junior School in Chelsea, London, where she is passionate about the education and development of her pupils. Louisa is responsible for admissions testing and interviews at Hill House.
Christa Clark
Christa was a School Prefect at Kirkcudbright Academy in Scotland, where she excelled in all aspects of school life. After school, Christa studied at the University of Oxford, where she was a University College Scholar and graduated with a Master’s degree in Maths. She remained involved in many aspects of university life, and achieved a Blue for hockey. After graduating Christa worked at Mars & Co Management Consultants in London, before moving on to become a highly successful teacher. Her flourishing teaching career began at St James School for boys in London, where she was Head of the Maths department, and Whitgift School where she was Deputy Head of Maths. She moved to Clifton College and became Head of Maths and more recently became the first female housemistress of a boys day house. At Clifton College she is involved with teaching and coaching sport and is also extensively involved in writing the entrance examinations. As such, Christa is in a good position to advise on a wide range of educational matters, ranging from admissions and entrance exams to academic curriculums.
Richard Hooper
Richard was raised in South Africa and attended St John’s College, a boarding school in Johannesburg, before moving to England where he boarded at Exeter School in Devon. Richard was involved in all aspects of school life and captained the First XI cricket and hockey teams. Following on from school Richard read Economics & Environmental Policy at LSE (London School of Economics), where he was also captain of the First XI cricket team and vice-captain of rugby. After graduating, Richard worked in investment management for SEI Investments and Jupiter Asset Management. He also completed an Executive MBA at École hôtelière de Lausanne.
Samuel Crouch
Samuel attended Sevenoaks School in Kent, where he was involved in many extracurricular aspects of school life. He was a member of the school 1st tennis team from a young age, played for the Kent County team and represented the school at football and rugby. He was actively involved in music and played the violin to grade 8, played for the Kent County Youth Orchestra and was invited to lead the National Children’s Chamber Orchestra. He spent his gap year working for the charity Raleigh International, and was based in Namibia working on environmental and community projects. Subsequently, he attended University of Oxford, where he gained a Master’s degree in Geography. Since graduation Sam has spent 12 years working in the investment banking industry.
Anna De Paula Hanika
Anna was educated at Westminster, where she achieved top grades in her GCSEs and A-levels and flourished at all aspects of school life. She spent a ‘gap year’ completing a Foundation Course in Art and Design, at the prestigious Chelsea School of Art and Design. Following on from this Anna attended the University of Oxford, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Psychology. Anna worked for ‘Oxbridge Applications’, an education consultancy that seeks to advise and support students applying to the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, and has a proven record of increasing applications by a success rate that is twice the average. Since graduation Anna has led a successful career at Google and other technology and healthcare companies. She recently set up her own successful business and is the CEO of Uno Health. She grew up in London and lives in New York.
